The same applies to spouses who live together with such a person and at least one minor child. In addition, a hardship clause has been introduced for people who can communicate orally in German without significant problems in everyday life, but do not meet the high requirements of the CEFR B1 language level. The prerequisite for this is that it is proven that, despite initial and sustained efforts, the acquisition of the CEFR B1 Nievaus is not possible or permanently difficult.
